This one speaks for itself. The President is seeking to control compensation inside firms that did not even take government money. This is the latest in power grabs that we let go unnoticed!

Yes, when he said "change" he wasn't very specific. I guess his supporters never asked what kind of "change" he had in mind. This guy is aweful.
I can't help but think that a lot of his supporters (the 40% who pay no taxes at all) are not impacted by his programs in any way....... so why should they care....
Something that I have discovered from my time on Newsvine is that a lot of people don't really know what socialism is...... and why it is in conflict with what has made the United States the wealthiest nation in the world.
This is unconstitutional in every way! It's a violation of the 5th Ammendment. It also violates well-grounded doctrine that infers the government cannot condition the receipt of federal assistance on the non-assertion of consitutional liberites. Freedom of private contracts is protected by the Constitution.
Barack and his gang are using the TARP funds to hold the banks at gunpoint. Much as they are doing with individual states when it comes to receiving federal money. They are acting like gangsters and thugs.

The goverment always does that crap. Takes your money in taxes and then makes you do things their way in order to get it back. Pathetic.
You are right on track!!!!
Intersting today that the documents were released indicating that Paulson Shela Bair and Geithner were all present when Paulson told the banks that they would take TARP money immediately even if they did not want it or their regulators would force them to take it!........
So, its finally official, the majority of the banks were forced to take the TARP money.....
